Harm Reduction and Community Engagement

Harm reduction provides evidence-based strategies to reduce risk and improve safety among adolescents, regardless of treatment readiness. Education on naloxone use, substance literacy, and stigma reduction can be particularly effective in emergency and community settings.

The Sandelich Lab partners with schools and youth-serving organizations to deliver developmentally appropriate harm-reduction education. These efforts support informed decision-making and increase access to safety resources.
